Two legendary formations of Hungarian music life impressed the audience at MÜPA on 28 December 2017. Transylvanian motifs and the percussive music of distant lands – Malawi, Gabon, Zimbabwe, Tahiti – responded to each other with such naturalness that only brothers and lovers understand each other.
The magical musical harmony between the bands that have given several joint concerts over the past five years is no coincidence. Throughout their decades of existence, Muzsikás & Amadinda have pursued very similar ideals, always seeking for man, nature, and transcendence in music. It is a mystery how so much love and joy can exist on a black vinyl record.
