Sivviti tablets are typical pieces of Jewish folk art in the synagogues.
The cantor Mordehaj ben Eliezer inscribed on his Shiviti plaque the complete texts of the Psalms and the five scrolls: the Song of Songs, the Book of Ruth, the Book of Lamentations, the Book of Ecclesiastes and the Book of Esther. He completed the tablet in 1828.
