Platon Karataev caught the attention of critics – and international audiences – with their first album of melancholic indie folk in 2017, and their 2020 album Atoms, which switched to electric guitar, was an even bigger critical success. And their first Hungarian-language album, Partért kiáltó (2022), which incorporates post-rock influences alongside psychedelic rock and folk, won unanimous acclaim.
