Iván Fischer takes the Budapest Festival Orchestra to one of the highest peaks of 19th century symphonic music with a new recording of Anton Bruckner’s monumental, mysterious and deeply religious unfinished Symphony No 9.

The Budapest Festival Orchestra’s new album was awarded the Album of the Year 2022 and the Audience Award in the Dutch NativeDSD poll. The album of Bruckner’s Symphony No. 9 was the first of five albums in the orchestral recordings category.
